RESERVATION

1. How do I reserve my hotel room?
When viewing the information for your selected hotel, you will note the rate schedule at the page. Once you have chosen a hotel and date, click on the "PROCEED BOOKING" link. This will take you to the Booking Request Form, please complete this form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address and guest name(s) and submit it by clicking on “PRCEED PAYMENT”. As soon as we receive your request, you will receive an email showing the booking details once booking is confirmed. A confirmation voucher will be issued to you upon full payment. Please print the voucher and present it to the hotel or handling agent as specified.

You may log in to your account to view booking status.

BookAsiaRoom will offer alternative hotel if hotel(s) of your choice is not available.

2. Do I have to pay the whole amount due when I make the booking?
Yes.

3. Which credit / debit cards can I use to make payment?
We currently accept credit card (Visa or Master card)

4 Do I need to confirm my booking with the hotel directly?
No. The Confirmation Voucher printed from the confirmation mail is all you need.

5. Can I book rooms for children or groups online?
For the present, please email us with your group requirement details and our groups agent will contact you. Rooms for children can be booked online.

6. I don’t want to make reservation online and I do not have a credit card, what can I do?
You can reserve by email or fax.
If you are booking more than 1 night and you do not have credit card, you may choose pay by Telegraphic Transfer method. It is advisable to book hotel rooms as early as possible. The amount paid will normally be the full amount for the stay. Make payment to:

Written confirmation will be sent to you after the receipt of your bank transfer payment. A confirmation voucher will be issued to you upon full payment. Please print the voucher and present it to the hotel or handling agent as specified.

7. How do I cancel or amend my booking?
Please send your cancellation request to us by email. We need it in writing so that we can confirm that it is coming from you and there is no misunderstanding of what action you want us to take. Any cancellations or amendments must be made through Book-Asia-Room directly and not with the hotel or this may affect any refund due to you.

Please check the terms and conditions pertaining to your booking, which will be available to read during the booking process.

CANCELLATION FEE -
In the event of any cancellation, the following charges are applicable:
1. Within 3 days prior to departure - 50% of the entire booking price. If your booking was for only 1 night then the full amount will be charged.
2. No show - 100% of the entire booking price.

AMENDMENT FEE – SGD $30 per changing / per booking.

8. How about the credit card refund?
Please note that refunds will be made in the form of a credit to your card account.

All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner. The refunds process is dependent on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 30-45 working days for the proceeds to arrive in your account.

9. Can I book last minute?
Yes. Please contact us or fax your booking to (65) 2761174.

PAYMENT

1.    Payment Method
We currently accept credit card, bank transfer. For traveler in Singapore, we accept check as well.

2.    How to make payment?
When viewing the information for your selected hotel and submit by clicking PROCEED BOOKING, this will take you to Reservation Form. Just complete and send the reservation form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address and a valid credit card. This card number is only used to guarantee your booking. Therefore, you will not be charged anything before confirmation.

As soon as we receive your request we will contact your chosen hotel to confirm the reservation. It is our policy to reply to all requests within 24 to 48 hours (this time may be longer during high season, weekends, festival periods or special events).

3.    My credit card number is correct, but it is not accepted, why?
There are a few possibilities:

•    The card expiration date precedes the reservation date.
•    You have reached your credit limit.
•    There is a computer error.

4.    Is the total price shown per person or per room?
Once you've selected the number of guests before searching, the search result will show the price for your room. The price shown gives the total for all persons, inclusive taxes.

5.    What currency will I pay in?
You have the option before searching availability to see our prices in Singapore Dollars. You will be charged in whichever currency you have your bank / credit card account.

6.    What time can I check in at the hotel?
Check in time at most hotels usually starts around 13:00-14:00 onwards to allow the rooms to be cleaned and re-stocked after the previous occupant/s,

7.    What is the latest time that I can check out?
Most of the Hotels charge for early check-in as well as late check-out (till 6pm).

8.    What is the latest time that I can check out?
Check out time is usually around 12:00 p.m., Most of the Hotels charge for early check-in as well as late check-out (till 6pm).

9.    Can I make specific requests to the hotel - i.e. disabled facilities, non-smoking rooms ?
You can request no-smoking rooms as part of your reservation. Please note that it is a request only as few hotels will guarantee this option. For special requirements such as disabled facilities please email us and we will contact the hotel to check if they can accommodate your request.

10.    is the difference between buffet breakfast (BBF) and American breakfast (ABF) ?
American breakfast will typically consist of croissants, rolls or bread, jams and marmalades, tea / coffee and fruit juices. Buffet breakfast will usually consist of croissants, rolls or bread, salami and other meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, fruit, jams & spreads, tea / coffee and fruit juices. There may also be some hot food choices, such as sausages, eggs and bacon.
6.    Can I make a name change if I cannot travel?
Yes, provided you give us a minimum of 3 working days notice so that we can advise the hotel. S$30/per booking/per change of amendment fees will be charged to cover additional administrative cost.

7.    What are the different room categories?
Generally hotels tend to place their bedrooms within four different categories :
    Standard
    Superior
    Deluxe
    Executive
The actual differences between the bedrooms varies from one hotel to another, with executive being the highest standard of room.

Single Room
A single room is designed to accommodate one person only. The room contains one single bed or twin bed.
Double Room
A double room is designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains one queen bed or king size bed or if not available a twin bed.
Twin Room
A twin room is also designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains two single beds or if not available a king size bed.
Family Rooms There are two main types of family rooms, as follows :
Triple Room
A triple room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room will contain either :
One queen and one single bed
Three single beds
Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form.
Run of House
When a hotel offers many different styles of room, a run-of-the-house room simply means that the hotel will guarantee that you receive a room offering certain standard features. Bedding types, views, and smoking / non-smoking are not usually part of the run-of-the-house description, and are upon request only. All requests not part of the run-of-the-house standard for that hotel cannot be guaranteed until your arrival at the hotel.

Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form. We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than four people in a room. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form.
Note that all kinds of room category are on request and depend on room availability.
